About Me

My name is Antonio Ramirez Cobos. I’m a Web Developer from Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. In the web world, I am:

I specialized in Web applications (now with Yii Framework) even though my strongest background was in Visual Basic (everyone has a past)

What languages do you use and specialize in?

The majority of my time is spent with XHTML, CSS, Javascript (Prototype and jQuery libraries), PHP, MySQL, and XML. I had the unfortunate path of self-educating my self into programming. I have also experienced with ASP, ASP.NET with C#, Java, C++, Visual Basic (DLL, EXE, Web Services, COM, DCOM with Microsoft Transaction Services). I’m quick to pick up any language I need to. Nevertheless, the one I love by heart is PHP.

How many websites have you worked on?

I’ve worked on hundreds of websites, from personal websites, small business websites, eCommerce websites, all the way up to enterprise websites. I’ve completed every piece of the projects.

Are you available for consulting, freelance, etc.?

I’m always available for book reviewing as I enjoy reading a technical programming book. I’m occasionally available for consulting or freelance opportunities depending on the time. Please contact me if you’d like to speak about these type of opportunities.
