I don't really know why you have problems with POST and/or GET... there should be the same result whatever the technique you are using... I am now working on Yii Framework and have no problems at all... and I am using POST... you should check the Javascript code and/or the JSON response format from the server.

Thanks for your comments anyway!

Hi Tim,

Sorry for the late reply, I am quite busy nowadays... Well, you shouldn't be worried, this great plugin takes care of vertical and horizontal areas of the parent control where images are placed in...

Best

Nice autocompleter. I come from Mootools and when I tried to use your autocompleter i had to learn what is jQuery.noConflict(); :P
I tried to adapt it to support sending the vars via post and I get an error 'missing ) in parenthetical' on setSuggestions, but i don't have much time so I'll look for another one.
Still a great autocompleter !!!

If it helps, I also tried to use it and so far I haven't managed to make it work. PhpMyAdmin still not working.

Think I'm back to xampp before I start crying.

I do believe I've solved the problem. I looked in the jquery version and saw that Antonio had had a similar problem that he fixed by moving the notifier add code to a different part of the script. I found the equivalent section of the script in the Prototype version, moved the statements over, and voila! Problem is solved.

For the record, I moved these statements,

<code>
    if( this.options.useNotifier )
    {
      this.fld.removeClassName('ac_field');
	    this.fld.addClassName('ac_field_busy');
    };
</code>

from lines 455-459 and inserted them right after line 243.

What if you want to apply it only to images with a certain class attribute?

I am doing fade in for a product catalog, but the items go out of the visible area. Since we will have many page views, I am concerned about scrolling areas and tabbed content.

Thanks for that answer. I'm a big fan of the original bsn version, but since I already use Prototype, I was curious to see if your version was any better. I've gotten it to work, but there is one odd problem: The spinner never goes away. The "leftcap" image appears on focus, and as soon as the autocomplete is triggered the spinner appears, but then it never reverts back to the leftcap unless the entire page is reloaded. Any idea what might be causing this?
